The Infant-Toddler Language Development and Intervention Lab (LiL’) is led by Dr. Meera, Assistant Professor, NIMHANS. This lab is funded by the India Alliance DBT Wellcome Trust through an early career fellowship in clinical and public health awarded to Dr. Meera.
At LiL' we are currently focusing on potential benefits of a parent-mediated early intervention for infant-toddlers at high likelihood for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders (DD).
We are getting in touch with families of infant-toddlers between 09-18 months of age who have an older autistic sibling. More information regarding our study is available in the "For Families" section.
At LiL', we will also look at various methods for remote delivery of intervention, and research on language development in children from various socio-economic strata and multi-lingual backgrounds.
